It is common knowledge that Dungeons And Dragons offers a player a myriad number of possibilities. Doctor Strange would know the exact number after permutations and combinations and seeing future. Sadly we don’t. Different worlds, classes, races – all come to life and you can role-play them. The Marvel universe is no exception to this.

Have you ever wondered what your favorite Marvel superheroes be like as DnD characters? Let us find out!

  1. 1 Ant-Man

Thief turned hero Scott Lang uses size manipulation tech to infiltrate bases and intimidate bad guys. This lovable Rogue because of his size changing ability can be played as a Halfling in DnD.

  2. 2 Black Panther

Known for his dexterity, rigorous physical training and hand-to-hand combat skills, and ofcourse as the head of the Panther tribe, the Black Panther can be a Tabaxi Open Hand Monk.

  3. 3 Black Widow

Despite being on the evil side in her past, Black Widow become one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s most deadly assassins and a frequent member of the Avengers. She specialises in covert intelligence and super heroics and so a Changeling Assassin Rogue is the perfect character for her in Dungeons and Dragons.

  4. 4 Bucky / The Winter Soldier

The undying super-soldier Bucky Barnes has unnatural endurance. Brainwashed for decades, he is hungry for truth knowing something is wrong. He is reborn as the White Wolf in Wakanda.

  5. 5 Captain America

Steve Rogers is all about up-front combat. He is the ultimate hero, the First Avenger. His race and class speak for themselves.

  6. 6 Captain Marvel

Carol Danvers has the ability to absorb energy and fire photonic blasts from her hands. Both skilled in combat, protector of Earth and having the powers of a Kree, Captain Marvel can be best characterized as an Aasimar Light Cleric.

  7. 7 Doctor Strange

That Doctor Strange is a wizard is no surprise. But he belongs to the school of Abjuration as he deals in protective spells. Magic of this school creates physical or magical barriers, negates magical or physical abilities, harms trespassers, or even banishes the target of the spell to another plane of existence.

  8. 8 Falcon

Sam Wilson just loves birds. He had the courage to become the Falcon because of his powers to control birds, and he received extensive training from Captain America. High up in the air, his recon and scouting helped in many missions.

  9. 9 Hawkeye

The best archer in Marvel Universe, Hawkeye also specialises in close combat fighting thanks to Black Widow. He has an excellent eye-sight, like wood-elves' low light vision.

  10. 10 Hulk

Another character class that speaks for itself.

  11. 11 Iron Man

This man is full of technology and weaponry. His expertise in innovations and a smart mind combined with his powerful suit that works like the hardened skin of a warforged, Iron Man is one of the most beloved Avengers.

  12. 12 Star-Lord

The leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy is another character that can be played in DnD but if he remains one of the well-liked Marvel heroes is a question up to debate.

  13. 13 Scarlet Witch

The Scarlet Witch's wild magic is capable of immense feats but that's just it - it is wild. She can alter time and reality because she is a conduit of Chaos Magic.

  14. 14 Spiderman

Peter Parker has a “spider sense,” that warns him of impending danger. He has the element of surprise, being super quiet and in places you can't expect him to be, clinging to the roof, for example.

  15. 15 Thanos

This one is a super-villain, able to withstand even the formidable hulk. He is also Lawful as a particular code drives him. He may think he is Good but it is upto us to know better.

  16. 16 Thor

Brute strength, godly powers. It is no wonder that The God of Thunder is a Tempest Cleric.

This is the awesome work of artist SketchGoblin. These make me want to run a superhero themed campaign.

SketchGoblin also does commissions, so be sure to check him out on Twitter and Instagram and also check out his website.

Give this post a share to spread these amazing illustrations with the hive mind!
