Wizards of the Coast have just announced a new sourcebook for Dungeons & Dragons which is set to release this fall in November and with a new class and four new races also announced, its hype just got real!

"Eberron: Rising from the Last War" is set to be the newest addition to the D&D family with plenty of exciting features within it. It is set up in the war-torn Eberron which makes its first appearance since we last saw it in D&D v3.5 in 2004.

The Dungeons & Dragons team describes  Eberron as "a war-torn world filled with magic-fueled technology, airships and lightning trains, where noir-inspired mystery meets swashbuckling adventure." In simple terms, one can expect a wild ride with a mixture of magic, technology and chaos.

If that wasn't enough, we also witnessed the revelation of numerous features inside the sourcebook with the most significant being the new Artificer class which will now be the first official class released since the Player's Handbook came out in 2014.

Artificers are mad scientists of enchantment as they are able to unlock magic out of the most mundane of objects. They make great use of Eberron thanks to the arcane magic that cascades within it. History suggests that an Artificer's role in Eberron could go either way as many Artificers helped save lives during the last war while some led the path of destruction while taking down countless lives.

If you thought that was enough to get you hyped, you my friend need to hold your horses as it only gets better from here on. The sourcebook also contains an adventure path for players to witness the world of Eberron and become a part D&D Adventurer's League. Other than that, it also comes with 4 new races, 12 new dragonmark tattoos, and much more.
